Receive the recipe Progress Report Binding from Gwynvyn .
Speak to Brumley Langboom in the Alcove of Reason ( -81, 13, 196 ) /waypoint -81.41, 13.09, 195.58 }.
Receive a Tinkered scanning gadget from Brumley.
Go to the District of Ash ( -108, 2, -47 ) /waypoint -108.05, 1.64, -47.42 .
- This step takes place in the Maldura: District of Ash (Heroic) . All you need is caution, you won't need to fight.
- The door is in the north side of the Sublevel Access Antechamber in Maldura .
Use the scanning gadget to collect readings from two immolated invaders .
- Look for immolated invaders to the southwest, near the Forge of Brell .
Craft the readings into a Scanner Readings Progress Report .
- There is an engraved desk next to Brumley Langboom
- You will need:
  - 3 Thalumbral Root
  - 3 Umbrite
  - 5 Thaumic Incense
