What does this information mean?

This quest has several conditions that must be met before you can see/hail the NPC, Steve Echgar , to begin.

The conditions are:

• Finish quests 1-9 from the Gathering Obsession Timeline and get the automated mail at the end of that quest series.
• Complete The Return Of A Gathering Obsession to receive the Artisan's Pack Pony spell, since one of the rewards for this quest is an upgrade. The Obol Plains version of Qho will not appear for step 6 (below) if The Return of A Gathering Obsession is not complete.
• Complete both The Captain's Lament quest, which begins in Isle of Mara and Fond Memories quest, which begins in Obol Plains. You also have to return to Captain Ethan (Captain's Lament).

Steps Edit

1. Find a Wayward guard , who reports seeing a child heading to the northwest path ( -353, 11, -48 ) /waypoint -353, 11, -48
2. Find the missing child Qho Augren on top the rock wall at ( -34, 81, 18 ) /waypoint -34.18, 80.53, 17.59
3. Pick some 20 fresh lychees and mangosteens (Astral Shrub) for Qho (These must be harvested in Obol Plains )
4. Return to Qho with the fruit.
5. Talk to Steve Echgar in town
6. Talk to Qho near the tourbillion ( -680, 1, 70 ) /waypoint -680, 1, 70
7. Follow Qho through the tourbillion to Eidolon Jungle
8. Talk to Qho near the tourbillion ( -2454, 207, 618 ) /waypoint -2454, 207, 618
9. Talk to Qho near the entrance to the Temple of the Faceless ( -2162, 222, 767 ) /waypoint -2162, 222, 767 .
10. Talk to Qho near Gultgha ( -1375, 217, 593 ) /waypoint -1375, 217, 593
11. Find a small tree to keep Qho quiet (clickable tree at ( -1332, 218, 570 ) /waypoint -1332, 218, 570
12. Talk to Qho near Gultgha ( -1375, 217, 593 ) /waypoint -1375, 217, 593
13. Talk to Qho at ( -444, -9, 555 ) /waypoint -444, -9, 555
14. Talk to Qho near the base camp ( -67, 13, 160 ) /waypoint -67, 13, 160
15. Click the rift to Feerrott
16. Talk to Qho on the beach ( 109, -7, -86 ) /waypoint 109, -7, -86
17. Talk to Qho in his pond in the Village of Shin ( -33, 10, -112 ) /waypoint -33, 10, -112 or ( -28, 10, -116 ) /waypoint -28, 10, -116
18. Return to Steve Echgar in Cardin Ward .
