A mysterious blue coin is a currency type that you obtain from both the Cobalt Scar crafting quest line, and from the tradeskill apprentice dailies from level 95 crafters.

Your collected coins are displayed on the currency tab.

They can be used to purchase house items and carpenter recipes from Charsin Andolar for 5 and 10 blue coins respectively.
