- You can not use CTRL + L click to preview the "wrapped" package version of this item if you are buying it at the Loyalty NPC. In fact, to unpack it, you must enter your character's house before you even get the option to examine the item in your inventory.
- Once you R click on it in inventory to open it, you can choose one of several paintings shown in the gallery below.
- You can use CTRL + L click to preview each painting while in game once the window to choose opens.
- This painting was first gifted to players who had a legacy account in the original Everquest game (aka EQ or EQ1). If you had an EQ account prior to EQ2's launch type /claim and check your claim window for the same "wrapped" heirloom painting item to claim.
-
- Because it hearkens back to an much older game and was intended to create nostalgia, most of the paintings will look particularly crude (or primitive) to those who have never played the original EQ.
- Because the titles and images refer to the EQ world, those who've never played the original game may not understand the references (and jokes) in the titles of the paintings and images.
- Any player can now visit Noble Tark Validus and use Loyalty Point Tokens to purchase, open, and claim all of the paintings if they so chose, but each one will cost the same number of tokens.
