- The ruins in the Fallow Farmlands have two kinds of alternating spawns - small groups of settlers and farmers, and larger groups of explorers. Farmers and settlers will not appear in a set of ruins unless the explorers there have been disposed of, and vice versa.
- Groups of Explorers occasionally appear along with A Rotting Pioneer
