Talk: Armor Sets

Have we given any thought to listing known drop mobs for these armor sets or are the mobs too numerous to count?-- Kodia 02:11, 9 December 2006 (CET)

Suggestion Edit

Make each of the "set" pages into a subcategory, and then add all the pieces to that subcat... that way this page only lists the actual sets (categories) and clicking one takes you to the pieces. -- Lordebon 21:14, 7 February 2007 (CET)

Oh, and also... perhaps some way to mark non-set sets? (A non-set set being something like the AQ sets -- they're a 'set' in name and look but not a recognized set in-game). -- Lordebon 21:16, 7 February 2007 (CET)

I have a new set I would like to add to the categories, but can't get it to just list the category. It is the Vindication set. I go to the armor sets page, click edit, and I get no code to paste my category in. I guess I am asking how one goes about adding a new category.

The category is added when you edit the page itself. Say you had info on Bracelet of Vindication , what you would do is:

• Use the search function to search for the exact item name including caps, so type it exactly as it looks.
  • If there is a page, it will automatically pull it up, if not, it will give you an option to create one.
• If there is a page, go ahead and add any extra info that you have and the page does not.
• If there is no page, select to create it and type {{subst:EIx}} in the edit box.
• Save the page and choose to edit it again. Now there will be a template in there for you to work with!

CLEANUP REQUIRED Edit

Sorry for the inconvenience, but somehow, while trying to add the Adept Blood Hide Armor (Set), it added the set name to the top of the "Armor Sets" page, and is acting like it needs an equipment list. I cannot edit/delete it, so I am hoping an admin can do it. Also, I uploaded a graphic file that was misnamed. The wrong name is Adept_Blood_Hid_Armor_Set.jpg. I corrected the filename, and re-uploaded and re-linked the required items.
