Talk: Ratonga (Character Race)

While on the above-mentioned quest, if one goes through the longer dialogue tree, Sa'ib Waseem relates to the player the following information...

Sa'ib: "... Their hunger for the arcane has compelled them for years, those imbalanced addicts of magic. They used to gnaw upon the bones of fallen dragons for the same effect."
You: "They did? When was that?"
Sa'ib: "Before the cayaclysms, back within the Age of Turmoil, their feral cousins, the Chetari were known to inhabit the Dragon Necropolis supping upon the magical marrow of the fallen myrms."
You: "They are related?"
Sa'ib: "As much as the ratonga and roekillik are. Although, it is possible for different creatures to share the same biological traits despite evolving from unrelated lineages, from what we have been able to learn they are all related. They share the same deific father and the same mold!"
You: " They do?"
Sa'ib: "The Duke of Below, Brell Serilis, created the roekillik and the ratonga, long before barbarians, humans or erudites walked this world. There is strong evidence that the Chetari are a feral relation to the roekillik.
You: "What more do you know about the ratonga?"
Sa'ib: "We have not learned much more than that. Odus and all of its inhabitants have been secluded from Norrath, here in Ultera, for more than two hundred cycles."

So it seems, a little more Lore of the Ratonga race has been introduced -- though, I am not sure how to include it here on the wiki. Hence, I have transcribed the text from the game here for the community-at-large to decide. -- Mysterious drake 20:17, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
