Zone Rename Requests

Zone articles are wiki pages that can be moved like any other page. Because of EQ2i's detailed use of inclusion , everything links to Zone articles by name, so renaming a zone to match the game can be a complex process involving many complicated edits. Extreme care must be taken when renaming a zone to make sure nothing "breaks."

If you think a zone is incorrectly named, read the policy on zone names first . To request a zone be renamed to match the game (and all the pages using the original name be automatically updated to the new name), edit that page and place {{ZoneRename|the new name}} at the top of the zone page.
