Basic Formula (excludeing debuffs)
Edit
-
(Max Dmg + 1) * Crit multiplier
- Default Crit multiplier is 1,3 = Crit hit does 30% more damage then a normal max dmg attack
Crit hits + debuffs
Edit
-
How can a proc of 1k crit for 2k?
- The secret behind this are debuffs.
- It is possible to debuff a mob to like ~ -50%, if a mob is that heavy debuffed the all Dmg that is incoming 50% higher
Base and Bonus Damage
Edit
-
Base Damage increases the Min and the Max Damage of a spell.
- higher non crit damage = Dps increase even spells don't crit
- higher max = Higher Crit damage
-
Bonus Damage increases the Critmultiplier
- Crit multiplier + 5 Bonus damage = 1,3 + 0,05 = 1,35 critmultiplier
Weapons
Edit
The crit amount of a Autoattack is a little different to calculate.
-
(Max dmg + 1 + Max dmg - Min Dmg) * Crit multiplier or (Max dmg*2 + 1 - Min Dmg) * Crit multiplier
-
Example1: a weapon has a min dmg of 35 and a max dmg of 75
- (75 + 1 + 75 - 35)*1,3= (150 - 34)*1,3 = 116 * 1,3
-
Example1: a weapon has a min dmg of 25 and a max dmg of 100
- (100 + 1 + 100 - 25)*1,3= (200 - 24)*1,3 = 176 * 1,3
-
Example1: a weapon has a min dmg of 35 and a max dmg of 75
- The Dmg spread between min and max didn't change that much but the crit dmg went up quite a bit.
Dual wielding
-
If you dual wield a lot you should use weapons that have the same speed and match your casting timers of spell.
-
Why same delay?
- Timing Autoattack with Spells/CA is one of the best sources for dps increase, if you spam your CA's and spells you will delay your autoattack, but if do like 2 CA's *wait for autoattack* 2 CA's you can increase your dps quite good.
- If your casting timers of are like 2 seconds then a weapon with 1.6sec delay is to fast for you.
-
The best choice normaly is to use 3-4sec delay weapons, depenting on your crit chance.
- If you are under level 20 then use weapons with a delay of like 1.6 - 2 sec delay, but not weapons with a delay of 4 seconds or higher if you plan to autoattack a lot.
-
Why same delay?
Dps and Haste
-
Dps Increases the Min and Max damage of your weapons.
- You can't see the increase when you examine your weapon.
- You can see the increase if you type /weaponstats
- You can see in your persona window, but you maybe need a own userinterface for that.
- The soft cap of dps is at 600 a weapon will hit 600% harder then
- to hit 700% harder you'll need 900 dps
-
Haste decreases the delay of the weapon
- no weapon can be faster then 0.8 seconds
- The cap of haste is at 200 a weapon will be 125% faster then
- going over the cap converts it to flurry
