Steps Edit

1. Collect 3 ptarmigan livers
   1. Go to one of the albino toad pools and obtain an albino toad
      • ( -38, -384, -761 ) /waypoint -38, -384, -761
      • ( -515, -403, -751 ) /waypoint -515, -403, -751
   2. Place the toad on one of the altars to attract a ptarmigan at each location:
      • ( 60, -389, -761 ) /waypoint 60, -389, -761
      • ( -283, -395, -775 ) /waypoint -283, -395, -775
      • ( -573, -412, -693 ) /waypoint -573, -412, -693
      • ( 60, -389, -761 ) /waypoint 60, -389, -761
   3. Kill a ptarmigan that attacks the toad (this step updates the quest).
2. Speak with Hilgan Gravelheart.

Note: As of March 6, 2011 this quest will only update for summoners if the summoner delivers the killing blow, not the summoner's pet.

Note: A snowy cliff beak used to work for this quest but no longer does.
