- This quest is repeatable.
- You must speak to Elder Yelnar on a hill in the water behind Dozekar (-1325, -1088, -233) and receive the quest before you kill Dozekar and loot the binding stone or you will not receive the first quest update and have to repeat the zone to kill Dozekar again to get your Binding Stone to drop a second time. Quest only updates if you have the quest when you loot the item.
- Note: as of 160325, one need not address Elder Yelnar before defeating Dozekar. Once defeated and the Binding Stone is on one's person, just speak with Elder Yelnar, receive the quest, which will automatically update allowing one to receive the Binding Stone Modification .

You need the following components to complete the recipe. An optional portable forge (tinkered or via TS AA) will allow you to craft the combine without leaving the zone:
- Yelnar's Binding Stone
- 5 banyan root
- 5 bubinga lumber
- 5 metallic reptile hide
- 5 osmium cluster
- 20 effulgent coal
Steps

- You must speak to Elder Yelnar and receive the quest before you kill Dozekar !
- Obtain Yelnar's Binding Stone by killing Dozekar the Cursed
- Speak to Elder Yelnar again, and tell him you have retrieved his binding stone. When you get the option, say "I am ready", and he will give you the recipe Binding Stone Modification
- Scribe the recipe Binding Stone Modification and use the Forge to craft Yelnar's Binding Stone of Shattering (this consumes the Yelnar's Binding Stone and 20 rare materials)
- Return and speak to to Elder Yelnar and use Yelnar's Binding Stone of Shattering on him. Then, speak to him again to finish the quest, and get your tradeskill apprentice
Rewards

- Warning: only click on and use Yelnar's Research Prism if you want to keep and use the tradeskill apprentice , Elder Yelnar (Dracurion Mastercraftsman) . The research prism can be traded or sold on the broker , but the stone it turns into after you use it is no-trade .
