What was the deal with the baby dragons playing then fleeing in the thundering steepes?

"You hear a small cry as though a baby dragon hurt it's wing."

"You hear a soft laughter as the baby dragon plays."

"You hear a frighted cry as the babies flee."

That is a guide event. Next time you see the baby dragon, try roleplaying with it. There's a certain type of item it's looking for.-- Kodia 11:57, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

I think the zone is random. I saw it in Qeynos Harbor and then Uberfuzzy saw it in South Qeynos. It may just depend on the guide that runs the quest.-- Kodia 12:27, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

I found the guide and baby dragon in QH the other night. I played with the dragon, fed it, and so forth. The guide very kindly gifted me with a lovely robe and a handful of peppers! -- Sigrdrifa 03:04, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

There was a GM event in TS the other day. The GM had three baby dragons and asked a group of us to "watch them" for her to keep them "out of trouble." They ran all over the place near the docks, then started heading into the river basin where we had to kill the undead and skellies to keep them from killing the dragons. Unfortunately, one of our group assigned to watch one of the dragons didn't do so well and one of them died. This lasted about 10 minutes and then we brought them back. We were rewarded with a crumpled halfling skeleton (looks like the one wedged in the rocks in Zek) that had 50 status reduction for the home. I sold mie for 25g. - Tunes
