Why isn't there a house-placeable bookcase that lets you store all your books and functions like a salesman's crate (but without selling)? -- anonymous

Great idea anon!! and thanks to Uberfuzzy i made this text... feel free to change so it suite your taste: "It would be really useful to have a bookcase that works like a moving crate or like a vendor window. That way you won't have them dusting around your house for nothing... I agree i have piles of books everywhere would be useful to at least have bookcases.Dollface

There are, of course, lots of bookcases, and even several that allow you to really shelve books (player-crafted teak, fir, etc.). Currently I am in love with the large redwood bookshelves though, both alone and in larger constructions . But still, I do wish that books would "snap" to the correct alignment, or that I could tilt a book when placing it. There have been a couple of discussions on doing the container, or mini-quests that wold convert several books into one volume etc. For a good example, see this thread in the EQ2Players.com Norrathian Homeshow Forum -- Sigrdrifa 19:33, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Given that several of the bookshelves now allow you to place books on them... I'd *kill* to be able to convert the million 'random piles of books' books into a single tome. Maybe an NPC that would give you a single-tome version in exchange? Kynarra 20:11, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
