Checking the USPTO's website (search for EVERQUEST) the next expansion looks like it will be called The Shadow of Odyssey . Will it have shadowmen? What will the Odyssey be? -- Sigrdrifa 20:38, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

If you look at the upcoming events with the next GU and further along (look in the Living Legacy website, it has an all-summer overview) it's pretty clear the next expansion is going to be all about the "void." We've already been there in two places where it's residents have broken through to our world: the obelisk of lost souls (via the tower of Vul, to the "realm" of Vul) and the obelisk of blight (via the tower of Zet, and thus to the "world" of Zet). How these words are interconnected/interrelated to the overall "Void" isn't clear, at least based on any lore I've ever seen. I think this expansion is turning up the dial from just a few small incursions (those two towers / obelisks) to something on a much large scale. -- Lordebon 11:17, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
