Well the ships need allways the same time to get to the other dock and back so it's rather easy to time it i guess. Ship sails off, he starts dinking his beer, when he is have done with the beer the ship is at the other dock and when he finished his beer the ship is here. But i guess he wouldn't need a beer for every trip to time it, just one here and there :) -- Chillispike 14:50, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

If they take the same time regardless of the weather and the amount of cargo, do they actually fly on a horde of griffons and sokokar while we can't see them? Also, considering the captains don't ask for payment, what do they live off? Are they former node stealers and farmers punished by this - or do they hop off board to grind a writ or two while waiting for the ship to leave again, so that they can earn a living? - Chalmo 15:47, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

They are at the docks for like 1 minute or so (ingame time 3 hours or so) and that should do it for all the things you need :) -- Chillispike 16:14, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Me, I think the harbormasters are in telepathic communication with the ship's captains. As for payment, do you count your small change every time you travel? I don't. The ships captain could be picking your pocket for the fare and we would never know!-- Blin 00:35, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
