During the last couple weeks, wiki has been hanging when it is downloading content from tag.contextweb.com. I am forced to use the Vista task manager to shut down my browser. I understand that you need to advertise, but this is ridiculous. Please get them to fix their content or get rid of them.

From some quick searching, seems like they're an ad management company. As such, the admins here at EQ2i have absolutely no control over it. The best anyone can do is kick it up to wikia -- instructions for folks to do that are available on Wikia's Help wiki . Even in that case, it's their site, and I'm not sure why it would be forcing you to shut down your browser -- it may make the page take a while to load, but I don't think I've ever seen an ad platform completely lock a major browser up. In any case, staying logged in should prevent most ads from loading in the first place (the front page being the exception), and as a last resort are plugins like AdBlock for Firefox. -- lordebon 06:16, January 1, 2010 (UTC)
