I've noticed something that I think might be conflicting information on the wiki.
This article here describes DPS as a point total that gets run through a formula to convert it to a DPS percentage increase.
However the equipment template just lists DPS as a straight percentage which doesn't make sense to me at least. Also, equipment examine windows do not show a percentage sign either.
An example would be the first item from the Category:DPS (Equipment) list which is Acolyte's Mark of Undead Ward Jado818 ( talk ) 16:52, November 21, 2013 (UTC)
- The Cap page hasn't been updated for the MA<->DPS curve swap that was done with ToV. Before the swap, it was on a curve that soft-capped at 200 DPS = 125% harder hits; now it's much simpler, basically linear (with slope changes at the soft cap points). If you'd like to try and update the Cap page, Xelgad's forum post on current formulae is a good reference to use.
- As for the % sign, a user reported that it displayed in-game with it. If that's not the case then it's easy to fix in the template. I'll try to verify which it is myself and then make sure it matches. -- lordebon ( talk ) 18:40, November 21, 2013 (UTC)

- I didn't even realize there was a change. Been so busy lately lol. I just looked in game on an item with DPS on it and I didn't see a percentage sign. However, hovering the mouse cursor over the DPS stat does shows it being a straight 1 to 1 percentage increase now for autoattack.
