Since we have a lot of different ways to handle categories and templates it's maybe good if you deactive the "Category Select" feature.
In the Top right corner you have "MORE" -> Preferences -> Editing -> Disable Category Select check it.
What's the diff if you activate the Disable Category Select?

1. If you edit an article the categories no longer move to the bottom of the article, also you can easier control if the categories should be within a noinclude part or not.

   Also it's maybe good if you wonder why so much changed in the article but you only changed a single letter.

2. If you edit an complex template the categories stay as they are not don't moved down either. don't worry it doesn't happen that often but it can happen.

It's a nice feature but sadly not that useful 100% of the time at such an complex wiki like ours.
