Hope this is the right place. Whatever the newest design layout is, it does not work at all with the EQ2 In-Game browser. I had to login and set the Layout back to Monobook or whatever it's called. It's like the CSS isn't loading or the browser just doesn't know what to do with the new layout's CSS or coding.

You may have to change the output based on the browser's agent string or something. Thanks for taking a look at it.

I'll take a look at it in-game, I have a hunch it has to do with their roll-out menu that EQ2's ancient browser can't handle properly. Unfortunately we have limited control over the wiki software but we should be able to go back to the old navbar system if the new one is what is causing the issue. -- lordebon 19:53, May 18, 2012 (UTC)
Well, I've tried the few approaches that came to mind (using css or javascript to hide the HTML5 elements that the IG browser seems to choke on) but no luck. There's techniques that use javascript that should work, but unfortunately the in-game browser doesn't do javascript properly either, so we don't even have the tools to work around the HTML5. I'm only an amateur web developer, but I can't think of a way to fix this without somehow getting rid of the offending code on wikia's side (and good luck with that, sadly). -- lordebon 21:01, May 18, 2012 (UTC)

I guess they changed something within the past couple days with the new skin if it's been sending it to visitors for sometime now as I rarely logged in with the in-game browser. For now, I'll just stay logged in so I can keep it set to that Monobook layout. Thanks for taking a look at it. Mysstie 04:38, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
