Is it possible to use wikicode to make an image link to a page other than the image file? I looked at Wikipedia's help page but it stated nav images haven't been possible since 2006 December. I would like to know if that has changed, and if so how to do it. Janze-Nek Coms Cons 21:57, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

I don't believe this has changed.--

- Yes it is, but its not how you think. you have to treat it as a url link, not a wiki link.
to link Image:Eq2i_admin_avatar.png Admins , you need to use the fact that mediawiki will turn a full long image url into an image, even if its an image at the wiki.

turn into
but this looks ugly. and its a pain, so we use some shortcuts
[{{fullurl:Admins}} {{filepath:Eq2i_admin_avatar.png}}]
turn into
it still a pain to use, and you cant control the sizing of the image when used by url at all. -- Uberfuzzy 15:24, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
