Can someone please tell me how I can edit/choose the right map to allow me to copy and paste waypoints.

I'm not sure we understand your question. Do you mean you need to copy and paste waypoints from EQ2i to the game? That's simply a matter of highlighting the correct waypoint that appears in an article, copying it, and pasting it in on a chat line in game. Or are you having trouble finding particular waypoints to paste? If you can explain more about what you're trying to do we can try to help. -- Kodia 13:05, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

I am using the old version of the map and it dosn't have a place to enter waypoints. Are you telling me I can paste the waypoints in the chat box? -- User:Kripton

Waypoints can be entered manually in game by typing, yes. For example: /waypoint 100,444,-256 typed on the chat line in game would bring up a blinking X on your game map and either a direction wisp (the gold floating trail that appears when you're close to a location) or a note in your chat window that says where your location is ("Above and to the north").-- Kodia 13:39, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Is there a way to enter the waypoints on the map search bar? I am also having trouble pasting the waypoints in the chat box (when I right click to paste, it brings up an option menu of changes I can make to the chat box). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xraybrad1 ( talk • contribs )

No, the search bar doesn't work like the old waypoint box on the old map window. As for pasting, just use CTRL+V instead of right clicking. -- lordebon 22:41, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
