Hello there, I frequent this wiki a good deal, but have always felt that information on things such as house pets are lacking. oftn not listing them at all. no incusion as to where to find them, the pets avalible, their commands and any behavours they may have, or rent reduction. Any myths about what they may do. I do have a question though. Do claimed pets ever eat bought pets? I could swear that i had a wolf, now i only have the carnivorous plant, the monkey, the aviark hatchling, and that mechanical thing that came with an expansion. -- 68.222.5.99 02:14, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

To the best of our knowledge, no housepets will eat other housepets. The claimed clockwork will "zap" your other housepets, temporarily "deactivating" them. But no pets will actually eat others. The houseplant eats what you feed it only. It's possible your wolf, if you had one, got stuck in your house somewhere. Have you tried retrieving him from your access tab on your house door? As for the housepets here, it's a wonderful suggestion to see more information in the entire group. You should now see a HUGE influx in the pet area for House Pets. Don't forget we also have a section on arena pets too. Hope this is what you were looking for. Uberfuzzy saw the request and took of running with the idea.-- Kodia 12:54, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

I am very appreciative of the pet information, it is so difficult to find any usefull information, especially with the EQ2 forums update, the search function is now useless there. Hmm, perhaps I was mistaken about having a wolf, it is a possibly as i was unable to play for many months, I could have sworn i had one. Or it may have been a glitch and i lost him when i moved to a new apartment as he is most defiantly not in the walls. I bought a stray cat to test for any possibility for claim\looted\quest pets having issues with bought ones. I have left it over night and so far the only issue is that it will not keep a name. Boo Boo Kitty will not join the ranks of Snoogins the Plant and Suzanna the monkey. Edit: Figured it out, maybe there should be some mention of naming the pets, that the game does not like spaces in names for instance. Morriganrane 20:04, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
