Linking images from other sites

I have an image I want to put at the top of my talk page. It is an in-game shot, yet it is nothing more than a bit of bragging ( lots and lots of books ) so seems silly to upload it here (the real image is also of a larger size). I'm not sure of the exact official policy, but the one I normally see / use is that hotlinking from another site is only acceptable when the hosting site and the owner of the image grants permission to hotlink. I'm assuming you're the "owner" of the screenshot, and IIRC Photobucket allows hotlinking of hosted images so under those conditions I would see it as OK. However, best to wait for Kodia to comment, in case there is an unwritten policy on it. -- lordebon 15:38, November 29, 2009 (UTC)
