Multiple Category Searches?

I was just wondering if there is a way currently or if one could be implemented to allow for multiple category searches or filtering? Such as looking up Tier 1 Inquisitor Equipment? Or just organizing some searches in ways other than alphabetical. This can commonly be handy when looking at lists of equipment so you can look for something like Class Equipment organized by tier or by slot, or both. Or limit the listing to these things for if you wanted to see what Tier 6 Monk Waist items were available.

no short answer- a wiki isnt really the best place for searching item data. we've managed to build a very complex net of categories that allow you to find some things, but as the site grew, and more things were added this web became somewhat unwieldy, and unusable. we did have plans in the past to do just what you were saying, but at the old host, it would have strained the already struggling machine to the breaking point, so it was abandoned. now that we are at wikia, and also now the equipment template has been completely revamped, this is possible, and IS on the short "todo/upcoming" new features for it. -- Uberfuzzy 09:13, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

That is what I suspected. In all honesty the only reason I asked was because I was quite impressed with how much the current category system offered for finding things. I am similarly pleased to hear that you do have plans for adding something along these lines at some point. This wiki is already incredibly useful and so I am attempting to add what I can to help it grow further. And just thought I'd toss that thought out there as it just furthers the usefulness if it is possible. -- ShiKage 09:53, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
