Quest question

i'm trying to complete the quest "a small sampling" and i've killed all 3 of the NPCs and mined their respective rocks, but for the life of me, i can't find the mysterious 4th and final rock. could someone please shed some light on the situation? thanks! =)

The quest writeup we have at EQ2i can be found at this link: A_Small_Sampling . 99% of the problems people I know have had with this quest and others in the Bloodlines series relate to being in the wrong instance of the Tombs of Night. Be sure for this quest you're in Tombs of Night: A Search for Answers . im doing the quest..."atop highcap"..i inspected the make shift lab but it is not updateing journal...did i miss something?

i'm trying to do "Getting the Smarmy Sprocket Underway"...I know the largest & smallest go on one side & the other 3 go on the side. One of my other alt's completed the quest but the alt I'm using now just can't seem to get it right. Is there a glitch in the game now? thanks!
