Hi, I’m was wondering if you all can help me out with a question that I have:
How coordinated are typical groups when starting group quests? That is, does everyone usually add the quest around the same time (like within an hour) or are groups usually formed through casual recruitment like adding pick ups along the way (which may take several days)?
Also, does this coordination to start quests change for heroic, epic, and raid quests?
Thanks everyone! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hopaxle ( talk • contribs ) 16:22, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Any of the above, in my experience. Some groups come together naturally or casually and just work on quests that folks happen to have, while other groups look to form up to do specific quests (and thus requiring or preferring that people be on or ahead of the targeted start quest). It varies a lot over the tiers and depending on whether you're looking for people to quest with as a pick-up group or whether you're a set of guildies doing specific quests. I would say that epic (raid) quests tend to be more focused, with people specifically looking to do them. -- lordebon 23:36, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Either one person (one in each group if raid) picks up the quest and shares it via the journal. Or each person picks up the quest, this is true for some quests that can not be shared out. Some issues may arrise such as different people in the group are on a different progression step for the quest line. Also if the level of the players are not in sync with the level of the quest, city writs come to mind here. Kyllien 03:49, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
