Is it possible to have a more visible seperation of the automatically added "Read more" section from the actual quest/page info? On a side note, I think it is not that helpful as the given hints are way too generic.-- Alinor 08:54, February 23, 2011 (UTC)
- I fully agree with you on it being useless... the suggestions often have rather tenuous links to each other. Unfortunately to get it disabled we probably have to go through wikia, which means the initial request should come from an admin. Hopefully Chilli will see this topic and will be able to make the request. That new wikia skin is really more pain than its worth, in the meantime you can always switch to Monobook, Alinor. -- lordebon 14:24, February 23, 2011 (UTC)

I've figured this out -- it can be disabled with a change to the wikia skin CSS. Individual users can add this line:
nav.RelatedPagesModule {display:none;}
to User:YourUserName/wikia.css. It can be added gloablly for the whole wiki but I'm not sure how that would go with wikia, since they changed their terms of use somewhat recently to include this line under "You further agree to:"- Not intentionally block, remove, or otherwise obstruct the proper functioning and view of advertisements, and/or user interface and functionality by other users, including but not limited to changing or adding javascript or CSS changes to the Service that would prevent the proper display or function of advertisements and/or user interface and functionality.
- If Uberfuzzy reads this, could you weigh in? Otherwise it might be worth an admin contacting wikia to see what kind of leeway we have in changing the appearance and disabling these functions. It really annoys me that they want to so restrict our ability to create a unique and functional look. I get not wanting to allow people to remove ads obviously, but "user interface and functionality" can be construed to include pretty much anything. I wish they'd wake up and realize how many complaints we get about their crappy new overlord of a skin and how its driving people away from the wiki. -- lordebon 18:03, March 12, 2011 (UTC)

- At least we do not have (yet) that annoying Rift ad like zam :-) -- Alinor 12:26, March 14, 2011 (UTC)
