Looking at Recent changes, I see every change has a number in parenthesis. Green numbers are always positive and red numbers are always negative. What do these signify please?
- Red and green numbers indicate the number of characters that have changed from the character count at the end of the previous editing session. For example, say there's an article I edit that had exactly 1000 characters on the page. If I change the spelling of a few words to correct typos and the number of characters increase by 5 letters, the recent changes would display a green +5 in the recent change line for that article. The same would hold true if I deleted 5 characters, but the deletion would appear as a -5 in red instead.-- Kodia 12:39, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
