Okay, so after doing a bit of scouring through pages that were placeholders (mostly for TSO raid mob loot), I noticed a trend with lots of misspelled filenames. Either with names that don't quite follow a quote-unquote standard naming convention (i.e. naming the image the same as the page, NPC, etc etc), or with misspelling (Chillispike no doubt got frustrated with me not knowing the {{Rename|}} call), or any other little nit-picky things (there was a minor talk page discussion about if a picture of an equipped / worn item should be named "blah blah blah (Visible)" or "... (Equipped)" or "... (Worn)" and so on.

Anyway my point is: does EQ2i have an adopted naming convention for item pictures that aren't examine windows, but for an item that alters the player's outward appearance? Secondly, given that I go through spells of hunting down typos and grammar mistakes, I'm wondering if there's an easier way to rename files? Pages have the "Move" function, is there anything similar that a non-admin editor can use (besides {{Rename|}}, which still seems to require an admin to actually do)?

Don't worry i'm here to help where i can =)

The thing with the rename template is that it's faster notice able to see a needed clear page move .. like typo and so on.

The Appearance Images have 3 common suffix (Visible), (Equipped) and (Worn), i think it's worth to add it to a policy at one point, yup!

Atm only users with rollback rights and admins can rename files and i have fast fingers sometimes with the rename lol (sometimes to fast ^^)

Okay, fair enough. {Rename} indeed works well enough.. I was only inquiring cuz I did a special search for file names with the misspelled "appear E nce" tag in the filename, and at a quick glance, there seemed to be a lot! (Although, when I went looking for misspelled "Heirloom" tags [there were many typed up as "hierloom"], the special search pointed me to a good handful of pages that were already typo-fixed... /shrug) Anywho, my point is to be on the lookout for files getting more Rename requests. =P
