Skin not skinning

I use MonoBook skin, and have since I started here. Suddenly I'm stuck with with the Sapphire Quartz skin and I hate it. I've tried twoce now to get my Preferences to actually take, and it shows MonoBook as my choice but there is no MonoBook skin showing. How can I get MonoBook to actually work? go into preferances, goto skin tab, uncheck that checkbox, then save -- Uberfuzzy 22:16, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

I had MonoBook checked, not any other skin. I had to uncheck See custom wikis (recommended). Which makes no sense to me, but it worked. If that is what you were talking about? Your reply was unclear. J a n z e- N e k ^Coms _Cons 02:01, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
