So me and a friend of mine are kind of bored with WoW and we decided to give EQ2 a try. I hadn't played the game since the beta, and he hasn't played either of the EQ games. I was thinking of playing a bard as I had always found them kind of fun, but my friend doesn't know what to play. Are duo teams as important for this game as they were in EQ, like should I roll a Necro/Shaman, Shaman/SK, Shaman/Monk combo? What is a good server to start on also?

Grouping is still an importan aspect in EQ2. for a good duo team I would suggest an SK/Warden combo. With the SK you get a tank that has great self heals and good dps. With the warden you get good healing, good buffs and the greatest advantage of the class druid portals. With a well played Warden behind you it really doesnt matter what the other class is. I myself play Warlock, SK, Warden and I often box my warden with my warlock. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Daemondred ( talk • contribs )
