I would always tell people how great Wiki is for EQ2 but lately I might reconsider that.This has to do with the ADs that make a page load so slow and the pop up blocker go off like a geiger counter.I saw it written that if I logfged in I would not see these ads except on the main page.While playing, I will usually log on Wiki as an alt page for info look up fast.The problem I have found is that I don't stay logged in. When I need another bit of info I tab to Wiki and use the search bar only to find out I have been logged and have to go through all the ad poppers again getting to the page I need.Is there some way to stop this? When logging in, make sure you choose to stay logged in. Furthermore, make sure your browser is set to accept cookies for the full duration, rather than for session only. When all is set properly, you should stay logged in the majority of the time. Occasionally you'll get logged out when the cookie expires, but that should be relatively rare, definitely not every day. Beyond that, when you see adds that are trying to pop things up or are otherwise highly annoying report them to wikia. The more people that report them, the more they'll realize that the community finds such ads unacceptable and the more they'll report that kind of ad to the ad company. -- lordebon 15:57, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
