Summon Pet companion item for any Class

I am wondering if there are items out there be it from a quest, dropped, or crafted that allow for non pet classes like myself (Assassin) to have a companion pet that actually can cause damage.

For those of you that remember the Vial that used to drop off the frogs in lower Guk for EQ1, it is similar to that where it would summon a pet for a period of time or til it died to assist you in your fights

theres an item that summons a mini iron golem that was greatly overpowered until nerfed by soe. cant recall the name of it, someone might, it comes from somewhere in Kunark. but in general, no. what few pet summoning items are for fluff/decoration pets only. -- Uberfuzzy 18:13, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

There is a item called staff of the observers that is a HQ that you can start by killing gnolls in the mines in steamfont and getting a body drop item. This will allow you to summon a level 50 ghost pet for 10 minutes that you are able to use in combat. But thats it far as i know. Heatwave - Antonia Bayle

Also there is a level 45-50 pet you can get from finishing the Sol Eye questline, it's not that great of a pet (10 min duration, 5 charges) but its something if your in that level range -Jesterling : Nagafen
