The Lost Village of Kugup
and
The Hidden Village of Kugup
are not the same instances. Most of the quest NPCs in Lost are merchant NPCs in Hidden. I will be doing lots of renaming, dabs and disambigs within a day or two, unless someone has a better way to handle this. (And has already been tagged in the article, Lost is actually "The Lost Village of Kugup".) Janze-Nek 18:03, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Oh, forgot to ask: when I start splitting off the NPCs, what names should I give them? I believe the current guideline is to use the full zone name? I will end up making "Euurp (The Lost Village of Kugup)" and "Euurp (The Hidden Village of Kugup)"? Janze-Nek 18:06, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hmmm, I see what you mean, that's kind of long (especially compared to the NPC's name). The policy doesn't explicitly state that it has to be the full zone name however; can we shorten it to (Lost Kugup)/(Hidden Kugup) or something similarly short? That should tell them apart enough, plus the disambig page can have a link to the full zone name as well as their purpose (quest NPC vs Merchant), the title of the pages just needs to be different enough to be distinguishable, not necessarily fully complete I'd say. -- lordebon 21:17, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
True. We didn't want them excessively long when we created the policy. My vote would be per Lordebon's suggestion because it makes the most sense.-- Kodia 21:32, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
- Then I will use (Lost VoK) and (Hidden VoK). Both (Lost Kugup) and (Hidden Kugup) look as if they could be actual zone names, and that could be confusing. Janze-Nek 22:15, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
