(Since there is not a Village Pump/Water Cooler, I'll put the plea here.)
I like userboxes. I can modify them (somewhat) but I can't write them to save my skin.
The box:
This user has an Editcount of... | 31,202 |
The problem: The number showing at end is not my total - it is precisely 9 less than what my editcount says it should be. Nor is 9 a combination of of any of the sub-edits.
The plea: fix the box so that the number shown equals the true total OR just the number of (Main) edits. Alternately, explain to me why that number will always be shy of the total, if that is what will happen.
This is for someone to play with when they get bored entering RoK data (in other words, sometime before next year would be nice =). J a n z e- N e k Coms Cons 05:46, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Template:User_Editcount we have one, but i need to get around to cleaning it up, i might take your css instead.
- the number returned by {{Special:Editcount/Janze-Nek}} is the total edit count of all namespaces across ALL of wikia (dont ask, no ones why)
- also, its cached data, so it might not update in realtime (maybe, not sure on that)

Sigh ... I guess I'll live with the odd number, huh? =) Although I doubt it has anything to do with caching, it's been 9 off since I "made" the thing.
I saw the editcount template. I don't like mustard yellow and odd-sized boxes, so I "stole" your code and modified it for my userbox page. "Steal" it back if you want - it was yours all along. =)
