Is there an easier to use waypoint macro then loc? Something which just takes the 3 coords and feeds that into loc for example? Converting the points from comma separated to pipe separated is a little bit awkward...-- Alinor 14:15, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
- You mean to get to a location?
-
/Loc shows your position and /waypoint x, y, z leads you to the location. --

- They're pipe-separated on eq2i because its a template. When you click the little box next to a templated-Loc, you can copy (ctrl-c) and it will copy the full command (/waypoint x y z) ready for you to paste into EQ2. -- lordebon 17:25, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry for being not precise. I would like to have a template on wiki to pass "x,y,z" to get the same result as loc{x|y|z}. When people are creating pages, they often use x,y,z without template and it is - a little - effort to convert that to loc{x|y|z}. Would that be possible or is it better to just get over it?-- Alinor 20:06, January 4, 2012 (UTC).

- Ah. Having "x,z,y" won't work, it would still have to be templated (eg., {{loc|x,z,y}}), but it should be possible to allow the template to work on a single operator instead of requiring the separation, as long as the wiki supports the string functions (which I believe it does). No one has ever gotten around to it to my knowledge though. -- lordebon 02:27, January 5, 2012 (UTC)
