EquipEffectDesc
You may notice in an examine window that certain effects are highlighted in red. In-game examples of these effects are:
- If adorned on the same item, this effect will not stack with itself.
- This effect will not stack with any rank or tier of itself.
- This effect will not stack with any other Stout effect.
This means that you personally have a piece of equipment with that effect currently active on your character. This will be red for you only . The game is simply telling you that if you equip it, you won't receive any additional benefit.
Other characters that have not equipped anything with these benefits will not see the effect in red . Please refrain from using the red tag in the EquipEffectDesc descriptions.
Weapons
Slot
Slot for weapons is where you equip it, not how you hold it.
All non-ranged weapons should have a
slot = Primary
.
The only exceptions to this is the few
Off Hand
Weapon(s), in the game, they need
slot = Secondary
wtype
The
wtype
field, or Weapon Type, is set to one of these for weapons
- Axe
- Bow
- Dagger
- Fists
- Great Axe
- Great Hammer
- Great Spear
- Great Sword
- Hammer
- Mace
- Magic Affinity
- Rapier
- Spear
- Staff
- Sword
- Thrown Weapon
- Focus
dtype
The

For shields, set
slot = Shield
, and use
dtype
for the type of shield.
