This quest is started off a mob drop (I got mine from a Nightblood next to the waterfall - unknown if it drops off anything else at this time.) This quest is similar to other book quests in zones where you have to kill 10 of something, read the book, kill 10 or something else (of of the same thing), forget to read the book, kill 10 more, smack yourself in the forehead, read the book, kill again....
