Starting the Quest
Most Lore and Legend Quests can be started either with a book or by examining one of the quest items. Find the book, Skeletons , using the location information above. Next, read the book, Skeletons , flip through all the pages, and accept the quest. Once you have accepted the quest you may place the book in your house. You do not need the book to progress the quest.
Steps

Find the following auto-updating pieces by killing
Skeletons
in any zone:
- a skeleton essence, a skeleton skull, a skeleton ribcage
- Find and examine the following tradeable pieces obtained by looting Skeletons in any zone, or buying them from other players
Rewards
- Trophy: Sir Altan's Strike
- Experience
- Your Master's Strike , Master's Smite , Master's Rage , or Sinister Strike will now affect Skeletons.
Special Notes
The starter book, Skeletons , can be found in the following locations:
- In Stormhold , in The Library , at ( -117, -32, -149 ) /waypoint -117, -32, -149 .
- In Kelethin at ( 292, 109, 90 ) /waypoint 292, 109, 90 (click on bookcase in building North of the bank).
- In Darklight Wood , examine a bookcase at ( 629, -24, 208 ) /waypoint 628.5, -24, 208 on the first floor of the Tower of Bone
Note that the quest level shown in your journal will scale with your character level, up to level 50.
