First you need to bring down the barrier that surrounds him and the Yha-lei. There are 4 named mobs in each of the other circles that must be killed in order to bring the barrier down.
Note: The named mob Leviathor'Consuma - to make him attackable there is some bluefin tuna swiming in the water at 229.50,-2.30,155.25 harvest it then get in the pool and use the bluefin you caught to make him attackable. The other 3 named mobs will become attackable when you clear out all the mobs surrounding their pools.
If he spawned his heroic pets, just do a pet pull and kill them off one by one until they are all gone. Same with the fish around the area.
When the area is clean, here's the strat for the group:
Tank takes frontal aoe - everyone rushes behind boss into the water. It's good if tank has an aoe blocker (in our case the paladin used divine aura and then that got us in the water). When you get in the water - just dps and stay alive through those aoe's.
Note that he does a large AoE knockback when he first aggros -- the group can avoid being flung away at the start of the fight by moving into the pool right as the last Yha-lei Worshipper right around the pool is about to die (killing all of the Worshippers right around his pool spawns him)
