Steps

Go to the
Tower of the Moon
in
Maj'Dul
( -150, 177, -150 )

- Speak to the Steward of the Vizier ( 7, 14, 8 ) /waypoint 6.74, 13.89, 7.63 on the second floor.
- The Steward will ask you to collect recipe pages from the Library of Light.

Exit the
Tower of the Moon
and go down the stairs to the
Library of Light
( -200, 167, -160 )
/waypoint -200.35, 166.77, -159.59
(near the
Maj'Dul
main gate). Enter the special tradeskill instance of this zone.
- Powerful Djinn (10-20 levels higher than you) roam this zone. At level 100 they can easily be oneshotted although they are red (even by a defiler). So if you are lvl 100, just pull the zone and nevermind stunning them. They do repop after about 5 minutes.
- Avoid the Djinn by harvesting a weighty tome from the bookcases around the zone. Place the book(s) in a hotbar slot and throw them at the Djinn to stun them for 1 minute, this gives time to run past and search for the book pages you need. You might need to throw at least 2 books to stun them!
- Warning: Do not throw a weighty tome at a Djinn if they are already stunned (name is in white). Doing so will awake the Djinn instantly and temporarily render them immune to the tomes.
- Note: Took a L95 merc into this zone and he distracted the Djinn long enough for them to be killed. They're actually pretty wimpy if you can manage to hit them.

Collect the pieces of the book from downstairs in the
short central
bookcases while avoiding
Djinn
.
- Bookcases are in four rows of two. As you look into the room from the bottom of the stairs, the bookcases on the right hand side are the ones containing pages. Each bookcase contains only one page but the location of that page is random for each scholar {I have done this on two toons and the pages were in the same place on both occasions - right hand side - pages 1 & 2 on inward facing sides of near pair of bookcases - pages 3 & 4 on outward facing sides of far pair}. The pages can be found from a highlighting 3 volume set (exactly how the heavy tomes are found). Hint, the exact order of pages 1-4 in your quest log is the exact order of bookcases 1-4, respectively.

Once you have collected the book pieces, go upstairs to the crafter tables, but be sure to carry a couple of tomes with you to hit the librarians on the stairs. The crafting area is not patrolled..
- If you die before completing this part of the quest, you will need to collect the pages again.
- Collect the recipe for repairing the book, The Restoration of Damaged Documents: A Primer , by searching the bookcase to the right of the crafting stations ( 12, 5, 47 ) /waypoint 12, 5, 47 .
- Scribe the recipe (lvl 80 recipe), which appears as "Document restoration instructions" in your recipe book, and craft (restore) the book, a sheaf of restored recipes .
- Return to Neeta in Rivervale .
