you can fight him either inside the circle, and hide behind pillars when he announces his AOE, or drag him back towards entrance a few corners (no AOE danger, but lots of adds then!). If you drag him and deal with the adds, it helps to have a macro to target him, as he can be hard to pick out from the crowd. (I got 60 adds in all.)
