Policy-Icon This page documents an official policy on the English EQ2i. It has wide acceptance among editors and is considered a standard that all users should follow. Please do not edit this page without first ensuring that your revision reflects consensus . When in doubt, discuss it first on the talk page .

Nutshell This page in a nutshell:
  • Do not create placeholder pages, especially those containing only the stub template. Stubs are for expanding info, not a method for removing red (broken) links.
  • Do not tag pages as stubs if they cannot feasibly be expanded in the near future. If no information exists and won't for a while, it's not a stub.

This is the Stub policy . It describes how to tag pages as stubs , and when pages should be tagged as stubs. A stub is an article that has some information, even if it's only a little, but is not complete. That's not to say that an article needs to be perfect, but if it's missing a great deal of its potential information, it's a stub.

How to mark a page as a stub Edit

You can add the appropriate stub template to the top of the article by using the {{stub}} tag. We'd prefer to see the page edited, but we understand people are short on time and frequently editing from within the game itself. Find something new and want to add it? By all means follow the naming guidelines but don't avoid posting something because you think you don't have enough details. Use a stub.

How to deal with a stub Edit

It's simple: add information to the article! You can remove the stub template if you think the article or section has been sufficiently filled out.
