Talk: Appearance

You must attune a item before being able to wear it in a appearance slot. Likewise i can see no way for a cloth wearer to put plate armor in the appearance slot. Where is this data coming from? -- Sefana 03:48, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Updating Edit

This page needs some updating.

Imperceptible Beauty (Armor Set) for example needs a mention, despite not being available anymore. It still exists, and i see a lot of people still asking where and how to get it - Might be better to mention it here.

There is also a thread on the EQ2 forums (though i can't find it at the moment) about all the invisible items you can wear in appearance slots.

Another useful addition would be a discussion or a listing of invisible weapon slot items. Xirtharri 02:47, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Updates made to grammar (tense) to reflect the fact that this is old news. Added where/how to equip appearance items, including mounts. Clarified that it is still limited to class/armor type (leather for leather wearers etc.) and cleaned up the messy links to external sites in the table, most of which may have been removed from the game, since I couldn't get them to work elsewhere. Replaced links with internal links when possible. Linked to imperceptible Beuaty set. Better described how the "nekkid" armor for chest/legs doesn't make "true nekkid". Bolded and note at the top of the table to mention that the City Fest/Imperceptible stuff is available monthly. Added note about some SC sets having Imperceptible pieces. I think that covers it.
