Talk: Bruiser Epic Weapon Timeline

Equipping the Fist and attacking the first mob I saw didn't work for me. I actually had to run out and find a mob with color before it would break. Anyone else have this experience?

Were you oneshotting the mobs? Things will not proc unless you're engaged, and it does not engage you until after your first hit, so if the mob is already dead then it won't work (assuming the item works off a proc basis). -- Lordebon 02:35, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

I could've sworn there were a few that took me more than one hit (was only autoattacking, didn't use any of my CAs), but that makes sense. Thanks for helping clarify this for me!

Were you watching the text messages of your autoattack or the animation of your autoattack? Often the animations show you hitting more than your character really does because the display lags ever so slightly from reality.-- Kodia 12:07, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
