Item Template Edit

Right now we've assigned the standard item template to this piece of in-game righteousness. It kind of doesn't work, though, does it? I suppose we'll have to wait and see what the examine window tells us when we first see one in game, but we may need to figure out another way to document this, perhaps even old-school it with a Wikipedia-like entry instead of our loot-based write-ups.-- Kodia ( talk ) 02:11, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

I agree. I wasn't sure which format would be most suitable. If a general info page would be better, I'm happy to construct one. How might we link it out? ~Dexella

I think you should put as much info on the page as you want of whatever text you have. I didn't want to copy and paste whole cloth from what's written on the page link we've provided right now. When you say "link out" do you mean link to another website? If so, then the format is like this. Typing this line while you edit:

[http://www.everquest2.com EverQuest2.com]

Causes this link to appear wherever you place it on the page you're editing:

EverQuest2.com

However if you're going to write a page and link it more like a standard Wikipedia article, you might want to consider footnotes instead.-- Kodia ( talk ) 10:18, October 30, 2012 (UTC)
