Worth it?
By the time I reached this timeline with my crafters, all of the toons were already crafting level 96, but were only adventure level 80-something, so mobs were all red. I chose to do the ToV timeline before this one, rather than after as indicated by the timeline order, because it starts with a level 93 quest whereas this timeline is all level 95.
Doing the entire timeline took me about 4 hours, though I could have gone a bit faster if I wasn't taking notes for material requirements. The rewards for the entire line consist of: - coin: 39p 75g (I got exactly 1p 30g for each quest except the first, for which I got 75g) - currency: 38 mysterious blue coins (76 with all access doubling) - The Hand of the Maker (buffs prestige tradeskill endline abilities, otherwise useless)
With the toon I tracked, the experience I got took me from 80.4% of the way through level 96 to 46.9% of the way through level 97 - about 2/3 of a level. The quests were giving 5325 tradeskill xp at level 96 or 5252 tradeskill xp at level 97. I had 200% vitality bonus and 40% veteran bonus the whole way.
As this was the 3rd char I took through this timeline, I managed not to die at all, but in earlier runs I got killed by accidental aggro of the zombies or flying things a couple times.
Compared to the amount of experience you can get from the daily AoM quests after the AoM timeline, for my next character I'm going to try skipping this line entirely and make up for the lost experience with about 3 of the daily AoM quests (which give more than 20% of a level at level 99, per quest).
If your tradeskill level is below 95 when you get to this timeline, I'd say it's worth doing, as you should be quickly topped up to level 95, but if not the least-effort path to 100 is to beeline for AoM daily/weekly quests, then do the dailies until you max out at 100. Doing this line will get you to level 100 a couple days sooner in real time, but will add 3+ hours of playing time to the effort required.
If life is a journey, not a destination, then by all means play the content and enjoy yourself. There's a lot of crafting to be done in this timeline!

I did the questline as well with a level 95 crafter, before i did the AoM crafting timeline. for the XP it's prolly not that worth it, but the final reward is decent, mostly for refine and experimental. --
