zdiff Edit

I checked some pages and found that the categories Category:Raid x2 Zones , Category:Raid x3 Zones and Category:Raid x4 Zones are not used.
The Template:IZoneInformation uses zdiff as second parameter on calling this template NormalizeZoneInstance .
Would it be possible to add zdiff as second parameter to this template with 3 options x2, x3 or x4 if the instance is raid and add them to [[:Category:Raid {{lc:{{{zdiff}}}}} Zones]] on a vaild input? -- Chillispike 16:56, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

They used to work. I asked Uberfuzzy to nix the Public-Raid xN (since theres a grand total of oh say two public raid zones that come to mind, and they're all _mixed_ difficulty). Looking at the code, when he did it he accidentally killed the functionality for regular raid zones. Honestly I think this just needs to be revamped into Public, Solo Instance (can ONLY zone one person in), Group Instance (can ONLY zone UP TO one full group in), and Raid xN (Raids designed for N groups) when it comes to categorization. Then, for Public zones allow the second parameter to be called and added to the output but *uncategorized*. Thus a Public raid like Temple of Scale could be {{NormalizeZoneInstance|Raid|Group - x4}} , or in the zone template they would be instance= and zdiff= respectively. -- lordebon 17:13, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Since there are not many Public Raid zones it would be kinda ok that they only show up in the Category:Public Raid Zones but not in the [[:Category:Raid {{lc:{{{zdiff}}}}} Zones]].

Atm no Instance raid zone is listed at the Category:Raid x2 Zones , Category:Raid x3 Zones and Category:Raid x4 Zones Categories i meaned.

If a zone is a Raid x2, Raid x3 or Raid x4 Instance it should be listed there again i think. -- Chillispike 10:16, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

I changed this template so the x2, x3, x4 for Raid and Group-Raid will work again.
Category:Raid x2 Zones , Category:Raid x3 Zones and Category:Raid x4 Zones will show zones again.
I ain't enabled it for Public raid since those zones have a diff between x2 to x4
