  1. Kill goblins within Lavastorm to obtain 20 shards of the broken goblin tablet (a very uncommon drop) and return to Fendaris K'Lorn . ( -126, -115, 628 ) /waypoint -126, -115, 628
  2. Collect 8 goblin banners written in a secret goblin code. Their locations are as follows:
    • The Sootfoot Banner of Najena . ( -158, -130, 312 ) /waypoint -158, -130, 312
    • The Sootfoot Banner of Might . ( -225, -114, 147 ) /waypoint -225, -114, 147
    • The Sootfoot Banner of Ancient Mines . ( -320, -130, 453 ) /waypoint -320, -130, 453
    • The Sootfoot Banner of Krombral . ( -345, -130, 340 ) /waypoint -345, -130, 340
    • The Sootfoot Banner of Nagafen . ( -422, -114, 305 ) /waypoint -422, -114, 305

  3. Return to Fendaris K'Lorn .
    If you have not already done so, learn the Druzaic language by completing the Words of Pure Magic quest.
  4. Visit the 5 locations mentioned in the goblin poem that Fendaris decoded and scribed for you in Druzaic:
    • The Wounds , First Stanza. ( -672, -80, 83 ) /waypoint -672.22, -80, 82.64
    • The Goblet of Ro , Second Stanza. ( -678, -67, -159 ) /waypoint -678, -67, -159
    • The area of goblin rituals, Third Stanza. ( -635, -111, 302 ) /waypoint -635, -111, 302
    • Behind the lavafall straight in from the beach entrance, Fourth Stanza. ( -210, -114, 149 ) /waypoint -210, -114, 149
    • Slightly past the collapsed entrance to Najena, part way up the ramp to the lavafall, Fifth Stanza. ( -193, -114, 252 ) /waypoint -193, -114, 252 (apparently no longer needed)
  5. Speak with Bunglegreeder to find the name of the forgotten Lavastorm Legend. ( -404, -98, 194 ) /waypoint -404, -98, 194 .
  6. Find 8 rare rocks from Lavastorm:
  7. Return to Bunglegreeder who instructs you to search for information about King Tranix.
  8. Speak with Tomekeeper Sunto in the library of the Temple of Solusek Ro . ( -437, -60, -683 ) /waypoint -437, -60, -683 .
  9. Next, seek out the bones of the 10 knights of Flame that were sent out across the Shattered Lands :
    • Narisin in Antonica -- ( -2051, -37, -564 ) /waypoint -2051, -37, -564
      • Swim into the hidden Bloodsaber cave accessed from the pond in Windstalker Village . The bones are on the right hand side of the small outcrop of dry land. Quickest route is to use a Spire porter as it is very close to the Antonica spire.
    • Desdarn in the The Commonlands -- ( 252, -47, 252 ) /waypoint 252, -47, 252 The Antonica Spire can be used to port across to the CL Spire if you wish.
    • Weldin in The Thundering Steppes -- ( 854, -33, 1064 ) /waypoint 853.91, -32.53, 1064.45
      • The remains of Weldin are deep within the Roekillik caves which have entrances on a few sides of the peninsula on the beach by the giants. This is in the South-West corner of the map. Follow the shoreline from the Coldwind Station Griffon Tower, the first cave entrance -- ( 752, -18, 1182 ) /waypoint 752, -18, 1182 that you come to you will need to take these turns (immediate dead ends are not counted) once inside the caves to find the bones: LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT. In the second entrance you need to go LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT. In the third entrance (where the druzaic shrine appears) you need to go LEFT, LEFT.
    • Hogosh in Nektulos Forest -- ( -1374, 28, -698 ) /waypoint -1374, 28, -698
      • You will find his skeleton inside the West Bear Cave , which despite its name is on the Eastern Side of the Forest *It's called the West Bear Cave because there are two caves, and it's the western one of the two*. The bear Tirinor 28^ spawns directly on top of the skeleton.
    • Karysin in Zek, the Orcish Wastes -- ( -192, -25, -553 ) /waypoint -192, -25, -553
      • If you have access , use the catapult to DFC and backtrack to Karysin's remains which are laying on the Bridge of Zek just outside of the area in which you will find the Deathfist Citadel.
      • You can now use the transport mount to the 'Bridge of Zek' if you haven't done the above quest or prefer horse riding to being lobbed through the air!
    • Jartellin in Enchanted Lands -- ( -398, 0, -624 ) /waypoint -398, 0, -624
      • This skeleton is inside the Lamia Cave at ( -335, 2, -630 ) /waypoint -335, 2, -630 . You can see the cave entrance from the dock at Chomper's Pond . Once in the cave go to ( -360, 0.53, 624 ) near an alluring Lamia with small barrel at her feet, turn LEFT. At ( -417, -4.59, 609 ) there's small crate with lantern on top, a shovel and a wheelbarrow nearby. Turn RIGHT. A Lamia camps on top of the bones.
    • Edgarin in The Feerrott -- ( -1932, -23, 557 ) /waypoint -1932, -23, 557
    • Mortanis in Everfrost -- ( 25, 28, -478 ) /waypoint 25, 28, -478
      • Go through the Bitterwind Trench passage and straight across the Jagged Plains. Once you are on the opposite wall and facing the passage, look to your left and you will see a leaning ice block. The bones are in the open space under the block.
    • Liantis in Lavastorm -- ( -551, -92, 16 ) /waypoint -551, -92, 16 Eq2map
      • This location is just through the first mountain pass (into the same valley that houses Asphyxia ) and at the bottom of a small crevice. The skeleton is skewered on a spear that is stuck vertically into the ground. The crevice is filled with a searing lurker spiders that like to hide.
    • Usalin in Lavastorm -- ( -282, -6, -435 ) /waypoint -282, -6, -435 Eq2map
      • His bones are laying next to some boulders in the open area just past the underground Temple of Solusek Ro . --When you exit the cave from the temple, follow the left side of the zone and it will take you to his bones. --Alternatively, take the mount to Solusek Valley and it's a short, fairly easy run from there.
  10. Return the dead knights' bones to the Censer of Souls ( -322, -45, -708 ) /waypoint -322, -45, -708 in the Temple of Solusek Ro .
    NOTE: To avoid the Summoned Flares, enter the Temple via the back door near the Solusek Valley Station ( -166, -0, -586 ) /waypoint -165.71, -0.25, -586.39 .
  11. Speak once again with Tomekeeper Sunto ( -439, -61, -687 ) /waypoint -438.60, -60.60, -686.50 in the library, then hail the The Tome of Tranix lying on the table a few steps away.
    If you have not already done so, learn the giant language ( Krombral ) by completing the Words of a Giant quest.
  12. Enter Solusek's Eye and find the chest on sublevel 5. The chest is on the left side of the room where various Giants of Thyr first appear (if you see The Speaker of Fates before you reach the chest, DO NOT KILL HIM . He is needed for the following part). ( 100, -357, 189 ) /waypoint 100, -357, 189
    NOTE: This is the room with the teleporter disk, so be sure to get its access by stepping onto it the first time you are here. Thereafter you can use the disk at the Drednever Expedition site to return here. You can drop down the center mine if you have a feather fall cloak to easily get to sublevel 5. Also, step 7 of Saving Soles has you killing fire giants on this sub-level.
  13. Gather four circlets by killing:
    Note: the spawn timer on each of the named mobs below is roughly 20 minutes.
    • The Speaker of Fates (or his placeholder, a fatespeaker of Thyr ) holds the Circlet of The Speaker . ( 44, -360, 173 ) /waypoint 44, -360, 173 [Sublevel 5]
    • The Castigator (or his placeholder, a punisher of Thyr ) holds the Circlet of The Castigator . ( -292, -370, -90 ) /waypoint -292.19, -369.71, -89.64 [Sublevel 5]
    • Lord Crana (or his placeholder, a glass worker ) holds the Circlet of Crana . ( -287, -516, 123 ) /waypoint -287, -516, 123 [Sublevel 6]
      • Follow the pathways (go left from the room of the Castigator, then the left pathway on the glass catwalk) to the elevator at ( -315, -595, 195 ) /waypoint -314.86, -594.79, 194.53 Eq2map , and take it to the top (from level 6 to level 5), then follow around to Crana's location. Right click the elevator button (on the door frame either inside or outside of the door) to bring up an up/down menu.
    • Onyxlam (or his placeholder, a solumite colossus ) holds the Circlet of Tranix . ( -31, -34, -135 ) /waypoint -31, -34, -135 [Sublevel 1]
  14. Return to the chest in the giants of Thyr area ( 100, -357, 189 ) /waypoint 100, -357, 189 for your reward. Sub level 5 in Soluseks Eye. You can also return to Fendaris K'Lorn and inform him of your success for an interesting dialog (He doesn't give reward though and you still have to seek the chest).
