The sneaky lil bugger is non-aggro, and hiding up in the scrollwork above the pathway that leads down to a chute you can't jump back up out of. If you stand at the edge of that narrow ramp down and pan your camera out away from the ship and look up, you can see him in the crevice at the top of the hook shape. You can climb part way up the hook shape hole in the wall and shoot him, maybe AOE him from below.
